Eau de Parfum 10ml
Patchouli wrapped in sandalwood, the past softened through the prism of time. The former imposes its raw, autumnal, damp and leafy notes. The latter, drier and rounder, balances this woody harmony. Cade essence joins them, unveiling itself in a haze of smoke to better mystify them. This exotic leaf, which reached our nostrils along the Silk Road, intoxicated the bourgeoisie of the nineteenth century just as it did the hippies of the twentieth. Patchouli evokes a longing for elsewhere, for exoticism and mystery. An essence of paradoxes, its embalming quality, softened by tonka bean, sandalwood and balsam of Tolu, manages to reconcile revolt and the establishment. Never earthy, it recalls the dry leaves of the shrub, like the opulent silks that once carried its sweet and intoxicating scent.

Personalise your fragrance with layering
To create a unique fragrance that matches your current desires, your mood, or your outfit, you can combine Obvious fragrances with one another. For a successful signature, Obvious recommends using two fragrances.
Here are our fragrance suggestions for pairings with Un Patchouli.
- Un Patchouli + Un Poivre = A combination that reveals woody and incense facets for an ultra-dry and slightly smoky fragrance
- Un Patchouli + Une Rose = Patchouli makes the rose feel vintage, classic and oriental with a cocoa facet
- Un Patchouli + Une Vanille = A gourmand fragrance where vanilla enhances the tonka bean of the patchouli and makes it even softer. The leather facet rises and subtly evokes the smoky, leathery pod of vanilla
