MALFA WALLS 10ML
An explosion of spices
- 10ML
Eau de parfum 10ml
It is on the island of Salina, made famous by the works of Lampedusa and Visconti, that one finds the small town of Malfa. These Aeolian Islands — treasures offered to the "Happy Few" — bordered by sea spray and winds, are the source of inspiration for this fragrance.
Sicilian citrus fruits race to the fore and accompany you into the heart of the nave of the Church of San Lorenzo, where the scent of woodwork vies with the coldness of the thick walls dating back to seventeen hundred and thirty-three.
The Incense rises to the heavens, carrying with it the prayers and hopes of an entire people, passionate about life and freedom.
Perfumer: Julien Rasquinet
Olibanum, also known as frankincense, is a resin with balsamic, woody and slightly spicy facets. It is harvested from the Boswellia tree, found primarily in regions such as Somalia, Ethiopia, Oman and India.
The process involves making small incisions in the bark of the tree, allowing a milky resin to flow out and harden into beads over the course of several weeks. These hardened resin beads are then collected by hand.
