Mythology tells the story of Phyllis's lost love for Démophon, who departed forever from his beloved. Moved by the sorrow of this lost love, the gods decided to transform Phyllis into an almond tree. Démophon, upon learning of his lover's fate, returned and embraced the tree so tightly that it burst into bloom immediately.

Bitter almond oil is extracted from a small, spreading tree with dense foliage. Its fruit is a drupe that resembles a small peach. The single seed is enclosed in a hard, stony shell called a kernel, with a smooth and slightly grainy texture, marked by three veins on one of its sides.
Bitter almonds and apricot kernels can be used to produce bitter almond essential oil. Present directly at the source, our supplier carefully ensures the traceability and responsible management of this raw material at every stage of the supply chain.
