Plum Cream reinterprets the Japanese plum, better known as umeboshi plum, eaten after a long maceration in salt. This saltiness reveals umami flavors, the famed fifth taste, which is captured in perfumery through the salted plum enhanced with rum, davana, and cistus, revealing a complex fruity leathery sensuality.

This Japanese delicacy, for the first time translated as a fragrance, is expressed on the skin with depth and creativity.

Symbols of longevity, plums, or dried plums, have been prized for centuries for their sweet and tangy flavours. The addition of salt enhances their natural sweetness and brings a savoury touch.

The salted plum accord is a creation by the perfumer that blends a contrast of sweet and salty notes, evoking the rich aroma of dried plums with a hint of salt. It reveals a fruity depth accompanied by a touch of umami.

It is a very beautiful creation and especially extremely original. On the base notes, the plum is wrapped in vanilla leather, bringing a differentiating touch from leathers that are often very raw and animalistic. (Translated review)
